How to implement comments content formatting inside Comments panel

Please give a brief summary of your issue:

Hi,

We integrated the 8.3 PDFTron WebViewer, it is not possible to use ctrl+B (bold), ctrl+i (italic) or ctrl+U (underline) to change text formatting inside Comments panel.

However, it is possible trough your demo: PDFTron WebViewer Demo: JavaScript PDF Viewer Demo

I’m just wondering the following thing:

  • Is it posible to “automatically” use it trough a more recent version of the tool?

  • If not necessarly, how could we activate it in WebViewer 8.3, please?

Thank you for contacting WebViewer forums,

This change was added in 8.5.0, you can see this under the WebViewer UI section first bulletpoint:

This update was added to the notesPanel so to use the new features you will need to upgrade. There should not be any breaking changes from 8.3 to 8.5 or even to the latest version, so please consider upgrading by following the guide here:
