How can I keep ‘-’ hyphen in text extracted from PDF using PDFTron

I am facing an issue with the ‘-’ hyphen as it’s removed from the document if we have the hyphen at the end of the sentence. e.g as highlighted below in the image
Sample:

It’s coming like the below one if I paste it to notepad/clipboard. I need to keep the ‘-’ hyphen as it is to perform the text comparison

Problem:

this happens every time when I copy a line of chars ending with char ‘-’ (minus) to the clipboard and paste it somewhere else leaving the ‘-’ hyphen out.
Could please tell me how to resolve it?

Hi
Happy new year. I just want to double check that when you copy paste a text with hyphen from the Webviewer and paste into notepad, it removes the hyphen automatically but you want the hyphen as it is??

What’s more, could you give me a sample document for me to do more investigation??

Best Regards
Jack
