Q: Can your PDF to TIFF converter create halftones when converting to
1-Bit TIFF files?
For example, if the source PDF contains greyscale images, I will need
halftones created in the TIFF files.
If it can be done, are the halftone settings adjustable?

A: Both PDF2Image (http://www.pdftron.com/pdf2image) and PDFNet SDK
(http://www.pdftron.com/net) support half-toning when rasterizing PDF
pages to 1-Bit TIFF files. This option is enabled by default.
The rasterizer is using a high-quality, stochastic half-toning
algorithm so it does not require additional parameters (e.g. half-
toning angle, phase, etc).
