Are PDFTron products vulnerable to the heartbleed OpenSSL vulnerability?

Q:

Do you use OpenSSL in any of your PDF2XPS products?
If so, in what case is it used?
Do we have to worry about the heartbleed-case?

A:

We don’t make OpenSSL connections in our products. (We do use OpenSSL functions for digital signature certificates, but these don’t involve the UDP network connection which enables heartbleed.) PDFTron products, including the CLI tools and the PDFNet SDK, are not vulnerable to the heartbleed case.
